Committee system for Nottinghamshire County Council
The County Council has changed its governance system from the Cabinet & Leader model to the Committee System, as of May 2012. Jason has been appointed to the committees listed on the left hand side of this page, along with remaining the Liberal Democrat Group Leader and group spokesperson for Adult Social Care & Health.
You can view the County Council Report on the Governance changes here.
Jason's latest Councillors' Divisional Fund awards
Each County Councillor has an annual fund of £10,000 to support worthy initiatives in their division. Councillors can use their CDF to identify projects, clubs, events and people that work hard in their local area but often lack access to resources.
Please contact Jason if you know of a deserving initiative in Sutton North that might be eligible for a grant.
Here are a few examples of funding Jason has recently provided:
-
£1000 to Teversal Cricket Club's Youth Team
-
£1000 to Ashplorers, for RSBC Wildlife Explorers Youth Group
-
£400 to Long Reign Allotments, for youth and community plots
-
£300 to Project Stanton Hill, for community group IT equipment
